Relatively Speaking

Yea, I'm cast in another British farce!

When I first read the play I thought it started a bit slow, but I did appreciate how well written it was. The dialogue flowed easily and before you knew it you were into a story of monstrous miss-communications and devious machinations.

I play a well-to-do British corporate type who in his first scene accuses his wife of cheating on him and without skipping a beat then blathers on about how best to conquer the weeds in the "kitchen garden." Without warning along comes some young man asking if he could have his wife's hand in marriage and off it goes careening from one unresolved misunderstanding to another. Fun fluff and a great chance to work in a good theater with excellent actors and director.
